About

Dear all,

My name is Iva Colova. I was born in Bulgaria and I’m a social entrepreneur. During the last 4 years I have been actively working on extracting human potential and individual expression from people with diverse abilities and special needs in order to aid their professional development.

Ever since I was 17 years old, volunteering and actively supporting social initiatives have been a big part of my life. I have always been passionate about art, especially modern, and in the few spare moments I had for myself I was visiting museums or I was drawing.

In November 2018 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. It was scary news  but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The road to recovery was challenging, however, this experience helped me find and love myself. It taught me to appreciate life and every breath I take, my wonderful family and encouraged me to do the things I love.

Through this experience, art found its way back in my life. It helped me accept and deal with my emotions in a very difficult time. Slowly, step by step, I became the person I used to be. This is the reason I decided to share it with you. I sincerely hope that by looking at my paintings you will get just a bit more thirst for life, passionate love, endless gratitude and pure happiness and joy.

And, as I mentioned already, I have always been and will be passionate about supporting meaningful causes. Consequentially, 20% of the profits from each sale will go to the Association of Children with Oncohematologic Diseases in Bulgaria. These wonderful kids are facing challenges not too dissimilar to my own and deserve support. I believe that together we can give them that support.

Thank you for the attention!

Peace, love and light,

Iva
